Dora was born in late July 2011 and went on to save me from the peace and quiet of village life. When you've had dogs, gerbils, rats, birds, horses, snakes, etc your whole life, not having them is weird, I found it stressful to not have other living things in the house.
Having a village dog and treating it like an American dog confuses people here, it's fun. It's nothing like having a dog in America and there are a whole new set of trials to go through. Training is different, feeding in frustrating and how on earth do you get one back to Denver, Colorado?
